Are You Career Ready?

Many of us have spent the last 20+ years succeeding in school. We've mastered the art of extra credit and research papers, but the skills needed to succeed in an academic setting are different than those required to succeed at work and in our careers.

Each office has its own culture and political structure, but there are some concrete and actionable steps that you can take to make sure you are getting ahead on your schedule.

Sheena MacAskill is an expert on all things career and she is offering an incredible opportunity for Young Women in Law members to speak with her in small group sessions about how they can become career ready.

Sheena will be hosting a series of conversations throughout the fall, including:

October 6: Performance Reviews - How to be an active participant

November 3: Maximizing Your Mentor Relationship

This session is ideal for lawyers who are are looking for mentorship or already have mentors, and are looking for more effective ways of working with them.

December 1: The Importance of Developing a Career Plan

Space is limited to 12 people per session and you don't want to miss out on this incredible opportunity!
